v4.2.0
New features
- Inventory, a new module to know what you own and where it’s stored:
- every item has its own page, with its photo, its location and its quantity
- note its brand and model, its serial number, and when, where and for how much you bought it
- the end of the warranty shows on the item’s page with the time left, and a reminder can be set on that date so it doesn’t slip by
- a lent item keeps the name of who has it, visible right from the list
- the invoice and the manual go into the item’s attachments
- turn on maintenance tracking to log services and repairs in a dedicated tab
- sort your items into categories, each with its emoji, in the order you like
- a category can be reserved for some members of the household
- search looks through every category at once
- on tablet and computer, the categories form a column next to your items
- Private lists, for what only concerns some members of the household:
- a calendar, a task category, a routine or shopping list and an inventory category can be reserved for the members you choose
- the others see neither their content nor their notifications
- only its members can be given a task or a routine from the list
- a padlock marks private lists
Improvements
- Module icons redrawn in kraft paper
- On the home screen, the banners sit inside the apps block
- Forms: an error shows under the field it concerns, and error messages are clearer
- Offline:
- colors, density and the navigation bar can be changed even offline
- the web app stays available offline from your first visit
- Synced calendars show the icon of their service
- Conversations update without a loading screen
- Premium, presented differently:
- a carousel of the modules, starting with the one that brought you there
- the price, the dates of your free trial and user reviews
- a comparison of the plans, section by section
- a crown next to Apps, on the home screen, takes you straight there
Fixes
- Calendar:
- events synced with Google and Outlook keep their time after the clock change
- Outlook series end on the right day, and their time zones are recognized
- reminders go off at the right local time
- an occurrence moved to another day no longer also shows on its original date
- very busy periods show all their events
- the Android widget shares its width evenly across the seven days
- an iCloud connection no longer fails over an extra space in the username or password
- a calendar whose sync had failed starts again when you reconnect it
- Clock change, days no longer shift:
- in the meal plan and its shopping
- in the calendar and its widget
- in routines, budget, wellbeing, baby tracking, the fridge, trash, birthdays, travel, reminders and the home screen
- Shopping: the list generated from the meal plan follows the number of servings of each meal, and its quantities add up with those already on the list
- An invitation link lets you join the household even during sign-up
- Baby tracking: the day follows your time zone, and the meal history no longer moves
- Melia understands "today" and "tomorrow" in your device’s time zone
- Notes: the cover no longer takes more than half the screen, the note stays usable when the keyboard opens, and a mouse selection no longer jitters
- Your own messages no longer count as unread
- The loyalty card scanner ignores links and keeps the card number
- Importing a recipe from some pages no longer gets stuck
- More reliable subscription restore and verification
- Several crashes fixed, around the scanner, the file pickers and the detail pages
