    New features

    • Melimelo comes to Mac, Windows and the browser:
      • screens designed for big displays, with the list and the details side by side
      • mouse and keyboard everywhere: right-click, hover, drag and drop, typing numbers and times directly
      • the window remembers its size and position
      • the app lives in the Dock or the taskbar, in the menu bar or the notification area, or in both, and can launch when you sign in
      • on Mac: notifications, and updates that run automatically or from the app menu
      • on Windows: notifications and a title bar in the app’s colors
    • Melimelo speaks English, Spanish, Italian and German:
      • the app follows your device language, and you can change it in the settings
      • dates, weights and prices show according to the chosen language
      • each household picks its currency, used in Budget, Vehicles, Pets and Gifts
      • household country and time zone: notifications arrive at your local time
      • Melia replies in the language of your messages
    • Offline mode:
      • tasks, notes, shopping lists and loyalty cards stay viewable and editable without a connection

    • Melia redesigned:
      • a floating panel above the screen on computers, and a revamped conversation page on mobile

      • account or household deletion can be canceled for 7 days, with ownership transfer
      • a dedicated page for member permissions

    Improvements

    • Fridge:
      • quantities and units on products
      • a product can be fully edited, and the expiration date becomes optional
      • your first products are added in one go from the food catalog
      • reorganized product picker
    • Redesigned Budget: gauge, progress by category, transactions by month, and import of a statement shared from another app on Android
    • Baby: one screen per baby and a revamped meal tracker
    • Wellbeing: redesigned weight and day screens, and explicit consent for health data
    • Travel: a home tab that sums up the trip, and a cover you can change
    • Gifts: drag-and-drop reordering, adding from a product link, and a gift marked as already bought shows as taken on the shared list
    • Places: map and list side by side, and address search by country
    • Documents: download a file, also offered when the preview fails
    • Vehicles, Pets and Outdoors:
      • profiles redone with tabs
      • front and rear tire sizes for a vehicle

    • Shopping: the screen stays on as long as a list is shown

    • A recipe imported from Instagram, TikTok or Facebook shows the original account, which opens the post in one tap
    • Synced calendars: Google labels and Outlook and iCloud categories become event types, and any calendar, including the default one, can be renamed and recolored from the app
    • The Android calendar widget shows several weeks, and the whole month in large format
    • Home screen:
      • edit mode animates in and out
      • each widget explains itself from its preview
      • the home screen shows instantly at startup
      • browse the week with arrows
    • Household achievements become Melimania, with new levels and criteria
    • New splash screen, a lighter color palette, paper cut-out illustrations and smoother image loading

    • Barcode scanning is limited to product codes and recognizes them better

    Fixes

    • Calendar:
      • the last week of the month could be missing from the grid
      • a day could be doubled or skipped when the clocks changed, in the calendar as well as when picking a date
      • an all-day event spilled over into the next day, widgets included
      • Outlook event times could be off
      • a paused synced calendar was offered in an event’s details
    • Household and members:
      • making a member an admin could alter their account
      • saving the household’s first address failed
      • the participant list for tasks and routines was empty without the Calendar module
      • a member without the Budget module couldn’t add an expense to a split
    • Fixed errors that could occur when setting a new password
    • A tag Melia removed from a recipe stayed on the recipe
    • A document whose name contained certain characters wouldn’t open
    • Food search returned unrelated results
    • Content went under the status bar after launching from a widget
    • From the tasks widget, going back took you out of the module’s screen
    • Brightness didn’t return to normal after showing a loyalty card
    • Calorie calculation crashed on some profiles
    • Notification settings didn’t reflect a change made on the web
    • A search list emptied while loading
    • Leaving an edited note asked for several confirmations
    • Editing a message could fail
    • Floating buttons and the bottom of lists went under the Android system bar
    • Deleted images were downloaded over and over
    • Loyalty card logos hid the card’s color while loading
